japanese schools
Japanese schools- Japanese education is compulsory at the elementary and lower secondary levels. most students attend public schools through the secondary levels but private education is popular at the upper secondary and university levels.

Japanese games- otedama is a game played with are fabric beanbags ( called ojami ) which used to be sewn by grandmothers from silk kimono. baseball was introduced to the country by visiting americans in the 19th century. especially since the emergence of yuta tabus and takuya kawamura, basketball has received a recent revival and become a popular sport in japan.
Korean games- Jero as it’s pronounced in Korean is like thumb wars, but with more thumbs and less wrestling. Two people play this game, and put in two fists each with their thumbs facing upward, but not pointed up, yet. The leader shouts out a number from 0 to 4, and raises up either 1, 2, or no thumbs, as does the follower.

Japanese food-japanese cuisine is the food - ingredients, preparation and way of eating of japan. the traditional food of japan is based on rice with miso soup and other dishes each in its own utensil. with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients. the side dishes often consist of fish, pickled vegetables cooked in broth.
Korean food- korean cuisine is a national cuisine known today has evolved through centuries of social and political change. originating from ancient agriculture and nomadic tradition in southern manchuria and the korean peninsula, korean cuisine has evolved through a complex interaction of the natural environment and different cultural.

japanese traditions- the kimono is a traditional japanese dress. in modern japan, it is worn only sparingly or during special occasions such as weddings, tea ceremonies, formal traditional events and funerals.
korean traditions- korea is a small peninsula on the far east side of asia. it is between china and japan. it is connected to mainland asia in the north. it is separated from china and russia by the Yalu river and the Tuman river. between korea and japan is the the east sea. to the west between korea and china is the yellow sea.
holidays
japanese holidays- this is the most important holiday in japan. while only january 1 is designated as a national holiday, many business remain closed through january 3.
korean holidays- January 1 is new years day. January 30 is Seollil day. March 1 is independent movement day.
